Kristina Cooper

Please welcome our newest therapist, Kristina Cooper!

Kristina became a licensed massage therapist back in 2010 because of her passion to help people find healing in their lives. Her philosophy is that the body knows how to heal itself, but sometimes it needs a little guidance. She particularly enjoys working with people who are dealing with any kind of physical trauma due to injury or illness, as well as the elderly. She specializes in light touch therapies that encourage the body to heal itself, such as Swedish, Shiatsu, Reflexology, and Lymphatic Breast massage, but she also offers Prenatal, Sports, Trigger Point, and Myofascial Release. She enjoys incorporating heat applications during her sessions (when appropriate) with the use of warm towels and hot stones, as well as aromatherapy, as a way to aid clients in deeper relaxation.

Originally from New York City, Kristina moved to Colorado with her dog, Rowdy, to spend more time connecting with the outdoors. She has a strong background in ballet and physical fitness, and firmly believes in the benefit of complementary therapies such as chiropractic and acupuncture. She is also a Reiki Master and wants to learn as many light touch healing modalities as possible to further help all of her clients that would benefit from this kind of work.

Blessed with a love of creative pursuits, you can often find her cooking, crafting, or playing her guitar in her spare time. She also loves getting lost in the woods and will most likely end up living in a cabin by a lake in the forest somewhere in the Pacific Northwest.
