Therapies

functional bodywork

Functional Bodywork is more than a massage. Each session combines a blend of different techniques tailored to your particular circumstance: deep Myofascial work, hot stones, Neuromuscular therapy, Cupping, Stretching, Breathwork, gentle Yoga, Prenatal work, Meditation/Mindfulness, and/or nutritional and lifestyle recommendations.

prenatal massage

Pregnancy is a sacred time in a woman’s life. Prenatal massage has many benefits such as reducing anxiety and depression along with relieving muscle aches and joint pain. According to the American Pregnancy Association, regular massage throughout pregnancy can improve labor outcomes and newborn health.

Our intention is to offer a nurturing space for stress relief, relaxation and easing of those aches and pains that arise during your pregnancy journey. Our Loveland office houses our Athena prenatal table which allows mamas to lay face down. Our Fort Collins office also has prenatal pillows that allow most women to lay face down with comfort and ease. We are knowledgeable on prenatal massage contraindications as well as safe essential oil use during and after pregnancy.

mindfulness & stress management

Mindfulness means simply paying attention to the present moment without passing judgment on what’s happening. It also means taking the calm you find on the meditation cushion or yoga mat and bringing it into your daily life, improving your ability to handle stress and reduce anxiety. We offer workshops, courses, stand-alone sessions and sessions combined with massage to bring a deep calm to your body, mind, and spirit.

energetic healing

Your body runs on energy. Chinese medicine has mapped energy meridians that supply Chi throughout the body, as Ayurveda has with Prana. Energetic healing focuses on balancing these channels and removing blockages so your vital energy can flow unimpeded.

therapeutic yoga

Viniyoga is a therapeutic approach to yoga, deeply integrating breath and movement and encouraging adaptation of poses to safely achieve positive change. We currently offer workshops; we can also develop a personalized yoga practice and even pair it with a massage to further address imbalances.

ayurveda

Ayurveda is an ancient science of healthy living, and is considered the sister science of Yoga. It developed along the same timeline as Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.

Working together, we’ll discover your native constitution, or Dosha. Using the teachings of Ayurveda, we’ll bring it into balance through diet and lifestyle adaptations that will blend with and enhance your current way of life.
